Ej Sikke Lej is a Danish brand founded by Margit Egeskov and Marlene Eger Ullum.
It all began in 2004 when Margit and Marlene found some old needlework books with funny animal prints. Especially there was a fun print of an owl, which they thought would be a cute and funny applikation to a child-shirt. It is the same owl, which today is part of Ej Sikke Lej logo.
The T-shirt with the owl motif was a success and since then new t-shirts with animal prints appeared. Ej Sikke Lej children's clothes are inspired by 70s carefree and happy style. The clothes are comfortable to wear and does not limit children's freedom of movement.
